Being very British: Afternoon Tea

Hello guys,

Last weekend I had my friends from Germany over and we had a lovely time! We’ve been out and about and enjoyed so many culinary highlights London has to offer. Of course there was one thing which shouldn’t be missing on the menu: The traditional afternoon tea!

We picked the restaurant in the British Museum and it was lovely! Great atmosphere, nice people and a wonderful selection of cakes. As a good German I went for their Apple Strudel. It was really yummy although full of Rum what you normally not get in an Apple Strudel. So watch out when you go there with kids. The traditional afternoon tea with scones, a selection of pastries and sandwiches was also a good deal because you get a lot for £18.50. It’s worth checking it out!
