This is not your average blog about food. It is also not a guide for London's gastronomy scene. It is a blog about food and all the little details. I want to show you how easy it is to eat good and homemade stuff everyday. I'm not an organic freak and I don't believe that eating out or take aways are the work of the devil. It's just more about knowing what’s on your plate. And if you can save some money and add a little glamour to your lunch at work, all the better.
Picture the following scenario: you just came home from a long day at work. Running from meeting to meeting, the phone ringing all the time and for lunch you only had a lame, tasteless sandwich. So what now? Cooking for hours and try to make a Heston-Blumenthal-like performance? Not very encouraging after ten hours at work. Buying a ready meal would be an option, or getting a take away. That’s fine once or twice but not everyday. But what if you would have the chance to have a lovely and glamorous homemade dinner in an instant? Sounds too good to be true? I will show that it is possible.
I like the idea of mix and match. So why not buying something in the shop and give it the last finishing touch at home? Giving your food a hint of instant glamour and turning something you bought into something homemade. Ok, semi-homemade. It is easy and saves time for the other valuable things in life. I'm going to show you how you can make a lovely meal with a few ingredients and I can promise you, you don’t have to be Michel Roux Jr to have "Glamour Toujours" on your plate.
